Catapult Trust Board 
 
The Green Effect Trust, which governs "Trees for Canterbury", acted as the umbrella for Catapult Employment Service from its launch in 2003, giving the service a legal identity. The aim was always to form our own governing body, and with the help and enthusiasm of Peter Kelly, trustee of the Green Effect Trust, a board was formed and officially commenced to govern on February 1, 2005.
 
The Catapult Employment Trust is made up of a range of people from various backgrounds and professions. The board membership emphasises Catapult's ideal of setting itself alongside other local progressive businesses. 
 
 
Our Trust Board Members are:

Steve Woodside | Chairperson |

Steve was appointed as a Trustee in 2007.  He was elected Chairperson in 2010.  Steve is the Finance Manager for the Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce, where he has worked since 2001.  Previous membership of the CEIG and current membership of the ACE committee are indications of his interest in employment.  Steve’s interest in community includes being a Trustee of the St. Michael and All Angels Parish Trust, and Treasurer of the St. Michael’s Parish.

Barry Ward | Trustee |

Barry Ward has been a Board Member of Catapult Employment Services Trust since its inception. He brings to the team experience gained from over 20 years in hotel management, and a wide range of skills from the business sector. Barry regularly lectures for NZIM Management Programmes, is a business mentor, and self employed with business interests in farming and property. Married to Anne-Maree with three children he lives on the outskirts of Christchurch in West Melton.

Jude Ryan-O'Dea | Trustee |

Jude was appointed as trustee in 2009. Since 2003 Jude has managed the  Migrant Employment Placement programme at Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce. Prior to this Jude had  over 11 years sales and marketing  experience in a range of industries from meat industry to health industry and 12 years secondary teaching experience.
